The Teenage Cancer Trust concerts have fast become one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the annual British music calendar. Must see acts at this years’ event include Welsh music legends, Stereophonics, rock band sensation, Kasabian and in addition an evening of comedy with Gavin & Stacey’s Mathew Horne and James Corden.
With fundraising more important than ever before, Icelandic Glacial is elevating its commitment to Teenage Cancer Trust’s cause, instigating an additional fundraising initiative with leading natural and organic grocery store, Whole Foods Market – Kensington to help raise even more money for those in need.
Current statistics show that every day in the UK, up to 6 teenagers or young adults (between the ages of 13 and 24) will find out they have cancer, resulting in approximately 2,100 new cases each year.
As part of the charitable collaboration, Icelandic Glacial is donating 10p from every 1Litre bottle sold at Whole Foods Market - Kensington from March 1st to April 1st, with the store additionally donating 5% of its proceeds on April 1st to Teenage Cancer Trust – its dedicated charity of the month.
